Its not just about football.....

Apart from learning and progressing your childs footballing ability there are loads of other benefits for every child.

Joining in with Tots has helped all our players become more confident with themselves and around others, children learn aspects of teamwork, discipline, co-ordination, socialising,
self progression, fitness and of course fun!

New Friends

We are a friendly group of coaches, children and parents who welcome any new players no matter how nervous you might be.

Teamwork

some exercises involve forming large and small groups or teams who will learn to help each other in order to compete against their class mates. Our coaches help each player to learn how each excercise works, when to take your turn, and to enjoy working together. The groups are never fixed and its not about winning, throughout the course the children will all work and play with each other which helps them to make friends and get used to meeting new people!

Fitness & Co-ordination

Its a great run around!
With the help and support of the parents we aim to keep all of the children as involved as possible throughout the session, however theres no pressure and the children can sit with their parents on the sidelines at any time if they need a break or just dont feel like it

Lots of our excercises help to develop co-ordination skills which are a benefit to all children.

Discipline

Teaching the children how new games and excercises actually work is a key part of our coaching role, understanding when its 'your turn' is a great step for our Tots and coaches, despite all the enthusiaism and energy the Tots soon learn how to play and enjoy themsleves within the coaching system, this helps all of the children progress and enjoy themselves in a great environment.

Self Progression

Football might be a team game but like evrything its made up of individuals. Another fundamental aim for us to teach the tots to conciously improve themselves, whethere its a fancy turn with the football or one of our co-ordination games, once the Tots start to work on their progression theres no stopping them!

Football Progression - 5yrs and onwards

Once the Tots reach 5 yrs old they have the opportunity to join our older age groups playing at Wide Lane Sports Centre, we've got a great range of groups from 5-13yrs and a full range of abilities. From beginners to players who also train with Chelsea, Portsmouth, Southampton and lots of local mini and youth teams. Weve even got a player with an U10 England Cap!
