Based at the fantastic Trojans sports Club, in 2008 we hope to offer -

All of which will be built around a healthy eating and lifestyle education programme, courtesy of Sprint Start

 

DAILY TOTS SESSIONS - Mon - Fri 10am - 12. Every Tuesday we will hold a 2 hr TOTS session (2-5yr olds) which will build on our popular Saturday Football class. The Tots will meet lots of new friends whilst working in groups doing lots of fun physical activities designed to help each one improve their
co-ordination, fitness, social skills and introducing a few football basics. We hope to add new excercises from different sports as the course progresses. We have a great indoor hall if the weather is bad or to escape the sun, as well as access to all the clubs facilities.

Grass Roots Sports Coaching only use qualified, experienced coaches. All coaches must have a recent, valid CRB check and will be checked again by GRSC.

Short Day - 10-3pm
Full Day - 8.30 - 4.30pm (inc food)

 

Course Outline   

8.30 - 10am Breakfast Club
Kids will join our coaches and learn how to, and why, we should eat healtily in the mornings. We will all prepare our own breakfats together in conjunction with the Sprint Start team.

 

10am-12 Primary sports
Players will work on their chosen sport with one of our qualified coaches.

 

TOTS 2-5yr olds - Every Tuesday 10am-12
Based on our popular Football course we will be adding a few new games and skills at this great new venue.

12-1pm Lunch and games
sprint start will help us to provide a healthy lunch for all the kids who again will learn a little about healthy lifestyles and learn how to prepare simple, healthy meals, followed by eating and indoor games.

 

1pm-3pm New sports and Skills
Kids will take part in a 1 hour session itroducing them to a new sport, wideining their sport and fitness skills, meet new friends and maybe pick up an exciting new hobby!

 

Primary sports

Final training session/matches etc. in your preferred sport, however if you want to try out another sport thats fine too.

 

3-4.30 - cool down and home time

hopefully parents will be picking up some very happy and tired young players!

Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Healthy Eating and Lifestyle education and practicals from Sprint-Start, a charitable organisation to help Kids learn how to stay healthy, founded by Iwan Thomas, Olympic 400m hero and now an

ocassional coach with GRSC!
